Diana's Favorite Bands

Here are some of my favorite bands, some signed, but mostly unsigned new talent worth taking a look at.  I've provided web links where possible.

AC/DC                                  http://www.ac-dc.net/
Dirty Deeds  Done Dirt Cheap...the Aussie rockers made good.

Armored Saint                        http://www.armoredsaint.com
You just can't stop the Saint!  Summer tour kicking off June 16 in San Francisco!

Audioslave                             http://www.audioslave.com
The voice of Soundgarden meets the backbone of Rage Against the Machine!

B-52's                                    http://www.RepriseRec.com/theb52s
These guys have always been favorites of mine.  If you haven't experienced them before now, you can sample their special brand of wackiness.

Betty Blowtorch                      http://www.bettyblowtorch.info
Bianca might have rocked on over to the other side, but BBT rocks the house like none other!  Check out "Are You Man Enough" -- you'll be blown(torched) away!  "Last Call", the rarities collection is available now, and look for the movie too!  Also check out Blare's new project, the Blare Bitch Project!

The Bodeans                           http://www.bodeans.net
Yeah, well, so they got the "Party of 5" theme song.....we'll forgive them.   To see them live is a total musical experience!  In fact, I loved the band so much I named my cat after them!  :)

Bubble                                    http://www.planetbubble.com
I was always a HUGE Vixen fan, so imagine my delight when I discovered that lovely Share Pederson (now Share Ross) is currently kicking some musical ass as the frontwoman/guitarist of Bubble?  You'll love them as much as I do!

Candy-O                                http://candyo.net
Los Angeles tribute band for The Cars.  Very close to the originals...if you never got to see the Cars...here is your chance!

Cheap Trick                            http://www.cheaptrick.com
Do I really need to say anything about these guys?

Cinderella                              http://www.cinderella.net
Seeing these guys on tour the past couple of years made me remember how much I totally dug them.  Check the photo section for some tour pics.  They head out on the road this summer in support of the Poison 20th Anniversary Tour.

Cowboy Mouth                    http://www.cowboymouth.com
The antics of the zany Fred LeBlanc are worth the price of admission alone, but these guys from New Orleans serve up down home rock that just makes ya feel good.

Dash Rip Rock                     http://www.dashriprock.com
The court jesters of the scene, these punkabillies out of New Orleans aim to please whenever they put on a show.  A not-to-be-missed show when they hit your area.

DIO                                     http://www.ronniejamesdio.com
The man on the silver mountain, and the man who invented the horns up sign.  Ronnie and company keep on rocking the metal highway!!

Fireball Ministry                    http://www.fireballministry.com
Full of fire and brimstone, these guys will rock you!  Check them out.

INXS                                http://www.inxs.com
New kid on the block J.D. Fortune breathes new fire into one of our favorite bands from the 80's

Jet Fuel                                    http://www.ilovejetfuel.com
These boys are ready to rock you out of this world with their retro sound.  If you've seen them live, you know singer James is bouncing off the walls literally!  Jet Fuel is a diamond in the mine just waiting to be discovered!

Kick                                        http://www.kickinxs.net
INXS Tribute band from Los Angeles.  Saw them recently at the Malibu Inn and a great time was had by all -- check em out!

Poison                     http://www.poisonweb.com
Bret, CC, Rikki & Bobby are still the glam slam kings of the summer tour circuit, never failing to please the packed-to-capacity crowds with their brand of party rock.  Get ready for the summer tour with Cinderella in 2006!

Smithereens                 http://officialsmithereens.com
The godfathers of today's pop rockers, these guys still rock and pop with the best of them!

Supagroup                               http://www.supagroup.com
These guys are outta my homeland of New Orleans, Louisiana.  They cite AC/DC and the Rolling Stones as their influences, so you know they're gonna tear it up!  They survived Hurricane Katrina and are currently tearing up the European continent with the Backyard Babies!
