The interview with Joe Elliott has been pushed back to Wednesday, July 14 at 5:30pm, so make the change on your calendars!July 4, 2010 Happy 4th of July! Lots of activity this week. On Wednesday, July 7, Happenin' Harry will be throwing Diana a birthday party at the Aqua Lounge in Beverly Hills (424 S. Beverly Drive, BH 90210). Hosted by Carla Harvey and Heidi Shepherd of Playboy, musical guests will be Mercyy, Kitty Litter Disco (featuring members of Guns N' Roses and Dread Zeppelin) and the All-Star Jam with Harry, Jeff Duncan (Armored Saint, DC4) and who knows who else will show up?! The fun starts at 8pm, so come and join us!Then on Thursday, July 8, Diana will be in studio to celebrate her birthday with Def Leppard's Joe Elliott! Tune in (Time TBD). Happy Birthday Diana! May 19, 2010 This week's Wild Side will be a tribute to the dearly departed Ronnie James Dio, who passed away this past weekend. Diana will be playing music from all eras of Ronnie's career, with retrospectives from Ronnie's bandmates past and present. Scheduled to appear: Craig Goldy, Simon Wright, Scott Warren, Rudy Sarzo (by phone), Jeff Pilson (by phone) and more! Tune in 3-7pm.May 16, 2010 We are in shock at the passing of Ronnie James Dio today from stomach cancer at the age of 67. Our hearts go out to Ronnie's family, Wendy, and also Diana, who worked with Ronnie and Wendy at Niji Management. The world has lost a true legend. May 10, 2010 Just a reminder that Armored Saint's John Bush and Joey Vera will be in studio this Saturday, May 15 at 4:00PM to talk about their new CD La Raza, and their upcoming show at the House of Blues May 28. June 25, 2009It's been a harsh week this week with the deaths of Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and now the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Our hearts go out to all of their friends and families as they deal with the grief of losing their loved ones. Well, maybe not a reason to celebrate, but here is another one: Wild Side has been on hiatus for a couple of weeks, but we're back this week with bass legend Billy Sheehan as our in studio guest.. Billy is going to be talking about his new record "Holy Cow!", so join us at 4pm Pacific time this Saturday. March 3, 2009 The Key Club in Hollywood is really hopping these days! Saturday night, the KC was the spot for the DC4 CD Release Party for their new CD Explode! The Duncan brothers and their partner in crime, Rowan Robertson, hit the stage at 10:30pm for a rip-roaring set, following by Mandy Lion's WWIII (seeing the fabulous Jimmy Bain on bass was an added treat, as was visiting drummer James Kottak from The Scorpions), and Warrior rounding up the night. This Friday night, March 6, the Key Club plays host to the "March of the Saint", as the mighty Armored Saint brings their crowd pleasing tunes to the stage for one night only before heading off to the Land Down Under. Also appearing: Death Angel Speaking of James Kottak, he and wife Athena Lee (yes, Tommy's sister) and their band KOTTAK will be this week's in studio guests on the Wild Side. Tune in at 4:00PM PST to hear music from their new album. February 19, 2009 Happy Birthday today to Tony Iommi! Also, George Lynch & Oni Logan of the Lynch Mob invade the Wild Side studios this Saturday, Feb. 21 at 4pm PST! December 19, 2008 We've just heard this week that the new Heaven and Hell (Dio/Iommi/Butler/Appice) record is recording, just some mixing to go, and the record should hit stores April 7, 2009.
